Developed in the historic, high-ceiling studio spaces at 625 Polk Street in San Francisco, these charcoal contour drawings represent a deep exploration of classical figure drawing, garment movement, and anatomical proportion.

Working with live models, traditional dry media—charcoal, graphite, brush pens, and markers—was utilized to capture fluid gesture lines, fabric draping, and structural silhouettes essential to apparel design.

Technical Execution & Media Integration

Bridging traditional fine art techniques with modern digital production, these analog studies serve as the foundation for digital vector translation. Using Wacom hardware and digital design platforms, these charcoal contours are refined into digital fashion croquis, technical flat renders, and graphic media assets—demonstrating a hybrid workflow that connects hand-drawn artistry with contemporary digital media workflows.
