Be Mochill, but Chew Wisely

A mochi donut or doughnut, however your preferred spelling, uses mochi flour to make a doughnut. Each delectable donut has 8 mochi beads, perfect for sharing each flavor. Mochi traditionally is a pounded rice cake, literally sweet rice pounded with a mallet in a wooden bowl at a New Years ceremony, called mochitsuki. When pounded and formed into pucks and reheated, mochi has an unusually tenacious chewiness which at times can come with a risk. In Japan, some mochi products come with a choking hazard warning label targeted at seniors and children. If not properly chewed swallowing can become an issue.

But mochi donuts by far are easier to chew! That’s hybrid vigor, for you!
